This was the first time that MobiCASE conference comes to Asia. The main objective of MobiCASE is to bring together scientists, engineers, and researchers from both net- work systems and information systems with the aim of encouraging the exchange of ideas, opinions, and experiences. This year, MobiCASE received 35 papers for review. Each paper was carefully reviewed by at least three Technical Program Committee (TPC) members and reviewers.TheTPCselected11fullpapersand13demo/posterpaperstobepresented during the conference. We would like to thank the 52 TPC members whose reviews and discussions formed the foundation of the MobiCASE 2018 program. MobiCASE 2018 hosted exciting keynote speakers, and the conference was accompanied by the Student Workshop. The organization of an international conference requires the support and help of many people. A lot of people helped and worked hard for a successful MobiCASE 2018. First, we would like to thank all the authors for submitting their papers. We are indebtedtoTPCChairs,ProfessorRenOhmuraandProfessorSozoInoue,whocarried out the most difficult work of carefully evaluating the submitted papers and creating conference program.
