But only a few persons use all the features and functions. These people are teachers of the program or authors of books about the program. They need to use and present all of the program to fulfil the needs of the many different people who attend courses or read the books. When designing and creating infographics you get all the necessary tools with the program. You can write text, create graphs, illustrations, symbols etc. Information or design? The function of an infographic is to inform. But information in its most simple form is like trying to catch a fish with a plain hook. In order to catch the trout of your dreams, you need to show a lot more than just the simple information in order to be successful. The hook must be beautiful and attractive. “Content is King”. But only when it is noticed. There are many examples of infographics made by many different people and companies in this book. They are only presented as positive inspirations, and parts of the infographics will be used as exercises on how to use Illustrator. These infographics are not evaluated but are just references to the different parts of the book.
