ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA
New Delhi, the 1 I th January, 2005
0. N. 2.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 1 3A of the Representation of the
People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950) the Election Commission of India in consultation with the State Government of Assam hereby
nominates Smt. T. Y. Das, IAS (AM : 1982), as the Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Assam with effect from the date she
takes over charge and until further orders vice Shri Bhaskar Mushahary, 1AS.
Smt. T. Y. Das shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges of work under the
Government of Assam which she may be holding before such assumption of office.
Smt. T. Y. Das, while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Assam shall not hold any additional charge
whatsoever under the Government of Assam except that she should be designated Secretary to the Government incharge
of Election Department in the State Secretariat,
