NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31 st December, 1999
G. S. R 8(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with Sub-section
(I) of Section 132 of the Major Ports Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the New
Mangalore Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 1999 made by the
Board of Trustees for the Port of New Mangalore and set out in the Schedule annexed to this notification
2. The said regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the Official
Gazette.
SCHEDULE
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) the Board of
Trustees of the New Mangalore Port Trust hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the New Mangalore
Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulation, 1980 and amended from time to time
1. These regulations may be called the New Mangalore Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and
Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 1999
2 In the existing New Mangalore Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations,
1980 amended from time to time, the following Schedule 58(a) shall be added :—
