L.-33004/97 The Gazette of India EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 65 ] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28, 1998/MAGHA 8, 1919 251 GI/97 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] 3 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] 5 MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) ORDER New Delhi, the 28th January, 1998 S.O. 89(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the Development Council for Milk Food and other processed Food Products established under a notified order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) number S.O. 836(E) dated the 3rd November, 1993 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3 Sub-section (ii) dated the 3rd November, 1993 shall cease to continue in being; And whereas the Central Government desires to constitute a Development Council for Dairy Products, Marine Products and Meat and Poultry Products in place of the Development Council for Milk Foods and Other Processed Food Products; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby dissolves the Development Council for Milk Food and Other Processed Food Products and also in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act read with rules 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Development Councils (Procedural) Rules, 1952, the Central Government hereby constitutes a Development Council, namely, Development Council for Dairy Products, Marine Products and Meat and Poultry Products for a period of two years from the date of publication of this Order in the Official Gazette. The said Development Council for Dairy Products, Marine Products and Meat and Poultry Products shall consist of the following members, namely :- CHAIRMAN: Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Panchsheel Bhavan, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi- 110 049. OTHER MEMBERS : (a) Persons having special knowledge relating to technical or other aspects of the industry 2. Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
