She specializes in socioecological dynamics during the recent Prehistory in the Western Mediterranean. Her research interests include the Mesolithic, Neolithic transition,culturaltransmission,lithictechnology,theemergenceofsocialhierar- chies, Mesolithic and Neolithic funerary practices and 3D Archaeology. She has directed archaeological fieldworksin the Mediterranean basin of Iberia, including atFalgueraRockShelter,PastoraCaveandatCocinaCave.Currentlysheheadsthe EVOLPASTResearchProjectfundedbytheGovernmentofSpain. Domingo C. Salazar-Garc´ıa (born Valencia, 1981; Ph.D. Leipzig-Valencia, 2012)isabiomoleculararchaeologistwhoseresearchfocusesonthereconstruction oflifestyles fromprehistoricandearly historic time periods. Especially interested inthetransitiontofarming,heisworkingmainlyonprojectsintheMediterranean, South America and Southern Africa.
