Description:''а ■.-This book is intended to provide the engineer, and engineering student, with a basic resource on the thermodynamic properties of a wide variety of working fluids. It grew out of the need for certain properties for thermodynamic cycle analysis being conducted at Stanford as part of our energy conversion research programs and out of my desire to construct a set of self-consistent,,easily readable, student-oriented graphs and tables of the properties of several substances, in SJ (the International System of Units), for inclusion in my books Thermodynamics and Engineering Thermodynamics (with H. C. Perkins), published by the McGraw-Hill Book Company. A selection from this compilation will appear in the next editions of these books.
