Indeed, one of the purposes of Malden Catholic is to prepare young men for many changes in an unpredictable world. M.C. provides its students with a challenging curriculum administered at the college preparatory level. Students fulfill requirements needed to further their education at a college or university. Time, energy, and effort goes into making the Malden Catholic student "the best he can be." Faculty and administration work hard to make academic life as stimulating and enjoyable as possible. A Malden Catholic student should be a positive reflection, not only of his family, but of his school and teachers. Yet, life at M.C. does not end in the classroom where it begins. Extracurricular activities are abundant and allow the students to practice the lessons they have learned, and to better themselves physically, intellectually, and spiritu¬ ally. M.C. students are given the chance to give something back to their school and community. Hopefully, we, the 1993 Yearbook Staff, have provided some glimpse of what LANCER PRIDE is all about as we recall the memories we have shared this past year. This book is a look-back on the accomplishments and activities of 1992-1993. We have directed our efforts toward recog¬ nizing each and every student: hopefully, you'll find meaning in our efforts as we welcome you to the 1993 edition of the Lance IVI C Steve Galante'94, Jarod Smith'94 and Ms. Patricia Grondin of the Religion Introduction 3 Department at Open House.
