Under clause (d d ) of section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act , 1960 (C entral Act 59 of 1960 ), as amended
by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (T amil Nadu Amendment ), Act , 2017 (A ct 1 of 2017 ), the Governor of Tamil Nadu
hereby notifies that Jallikattu may be conducted on 18.01.2022 in the places specified below subject to the adherence of the
Standard Operating Procedures (S OP ) for prevention of Covid -1 9 spread , norms specified in the Government Order 1st and
Government letter 2nd read above and by following the restrictions announced by the State /Di strict Disaster Management
