Ms. No. 154, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR.II), 5th December 2017, 裘ˆF¬è 19, nAés«Ã, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO B-1/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 read with Article 313 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Fundamental Rules and the Instructions thereunder. 2. (i) Amendments (1), (2) and (4) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 7th November 2016. (ii) Amendment (3) hereby made shall be deemed to have been in force on and from the 16th May 2011 to the 6th November 2016. AMENDMENTS In the said Fundamental Rules, in rule 101, under the heading “Instruction under Rule 101(a) - Maternity Leave” in Instruction,- (1) for the expression “180 days”, wherever it occurs, the expression “270 days” shall be substituted; (2) in Explanation 2 under Instruction 1, for the expression “180 days”, the expression “270 days” shall be substituted. (3) after Explanation 3, the following Explanation shall be added, namely:- “Explanation-4: The Women Government servant who proceeded on maternity leave prior to the 16th May 2011 and continued to be on that leave on or after that date shall also be eligible for maternity leave for a period not exceeding 180 days”. (4) for Explanation 4 as so added, the following Explanation shall be substituted namely:- “Explanation-4: The Women Government servant who proceeded on maternity leave prior to the 7th November 2016 and continued to be on that leave on or after that date shall also be eligible for maternity leave for a period not exceeding 270 days”. Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service. [G.O. Ms. No. 157, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (D2), 19th December 2017, ñ£˜èN 4, nAés«Ã, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO B-2/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service (Section 29 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual):- 2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th September 2016. AMENDMENTS In the said Special Rules,— (1) in rule 8, for the expression “rule 8 of General Rules”, the expression “the provisions contained in Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)” shall be substituted; (2) in rule 10, for the expression “The rule of reservation of appointments (General Rule 22)”, the expression “The principle of reservation of appointments as provided in Section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)” shall be substituted; (3) in rule 11, in sub-rule (3), for the expression “rule 35 of General Rules”, the expression “Section 40 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)” shall be substituted; (4) in rule 14, in the “TABLE”, in column (3), for the expressions “Schedule I to the General Rules in Part II of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Services Rules” wherever the occur, the expression “Schedule-III to the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)” shall be substituted; (5) In Annexure-I, for the expression “the General Rule 22”, the expression “the provisions contained in Section 27 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 2016)” shall be substituted; S.
