Tallinn University of Technology, the only technological university in Estonia, is the flagship of Estonian engineering and technology education. Here the synergy between different fields (technological, natural, exact, social and health sciences as well as business) is generated and new ideas are born. Internationalisation is the key to success in a nowadays globalising world and the contribution of our foreign students is essential in creating a multicultural environment of innovative solutions. I am honoured that Tallinn University of Technology has managed to attract the highest number of international students in Estonia! Whether you are here for a semester or a whole degree (and maybe even two!), I urge you to make the most of it – share your ideas and take in what is shared with you, learn from others and also teach them, explore the beautiful and peaceful nature of Estonia and last but not least – work hard but don’t forget to enjoy yourselves! 10
