Service members should refer to AFI 6.2.8.1. The cap must fit snugly over the top of the head (tight fit). Adjust the cap so it may fit squarely on the head. Fold the edge of the cap all the way around, adjusting the crease so the folded edge is no more than 3 inches wide. The back of the cap should run across the nape of the neck and the front should rest within ½ inch of the eyebrows.
