In response to the call for submissions, ICCAN 2017 received more than 330 papers from authors of different countries. Subsequently, after a rigorous peer review process with the help of program committee members and external reviewers from different countries around the globe, 79 papers are accepted for presentation and publication based on relevance to the conference theme and quality oftechnical contentswith an acceptance ratioof below25%. Wecould not alsoaccommodatemanypromisingworksaswetriedtoensurethehighestquality. The articles presented in this volume of the proceedings discuss the cutting-edge technologies and recent advances in the domain of the conference. First and fore- most are the authors whose works have made the conference a great success. We wish to thank all the PC members for their hard work, dedication and timely submission of the reviews without which it would have been difficult to maintain the publication schedule.
