He has edited or authored more than six books, 10 book chapters, and 35 articles in international journals and conferences of high repute, including those published by IEEE, Elsevier, ACM, Springer, Inderscience, IGI Global, Bentham Science etc. He has also served as Associate Editor of several journals, including the Journal of Global Information Management and International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (published by IGI Global) and Section Editor of SCPE. He is also serving in many various roles for several for journals, such as guest editor, editorial board member, international advisory board member, and reviewer board. In addition, he received Master of Technology in Information Security from GGSIPU Delhi, India; and Bachelor of Engineering in CSE from the Maharishi Dayanand University, India. He submitted his PhD Thesis in Computer Science and Engineering of National Institute of Technology Patna (Institute of National Importance), India. He also earned SCJP 5.0 certification from Sun Microsystem. He has also delivered expert talks, guest lectures at international conferences and has been a convener for the International Conference On Innovative Computing and Communica- tion (2020 and 2019), organizing chair in the International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Data Analytics (2018), and publication chair for MARC (2018). He is a life member of the International Society for Technology in Education and a professional member of IEEE, CSI, ACM, SIGCOMM, and many other professional bodies. He has an ardent inclina- tion toward the field of analytics and security. His research interests include information security, data analytics, cyber security and forensics, mobile computing, intrusion detection, and computer networks. About the Editors vi Sheng-Lung Peng, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan. He is now the Dean of the Library and Information Services Office of NDHU (NDHU), an honorary Professor of Beijing Information Science and Technology University of China, and a visiting Professor at the Ningxia Institute of Science and Technology of China. He serves the director of the ICPC Contest Council for the Taiwan region, a director of the Institute of Information and Computing Machinery, of the Information Service Association of Chinese Colleges, and of the Taiwan Association of Cloud Computing. He is also a supervisor of the Chinese Information Literacy Association, of the Association of Algorithms and Computation Theory, and of the Interlibrary Cooperation Association in Taiwan. His research interests are in designing and analyzing algorithms for bioinformatics, combinatorics, data mining, and networks. Dr. Peng has edited several special issues of journals, such as Soft Computing, Journal of Internet Technology, Journal of Computers, MDPI Algorithms, and others. He published over in 100 journal and international conferences papers. Dr. Peng received a BS degree in Mathematics from National Tsing Hua University, and MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the National Chung Cheng University and National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, respectively. Himani Bansal, PhD, has served as an Assistant Professor at various reputable engineering colleges and universities. Currently, she is working with the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India. She has over 12 years of demonstrated success and an excellent academic record (batch topper in master’s and 100/100 in Mathematics in Class X). Her extensive background of includes involvement in team building activities, effective communication with excellent planning, organizational, and negotiation strengths, as well as the ability to lead, reach consensus, establish goals, and attain results. Her many reputed certifications include SAP-ERP About the Editors vii Professional from the prestigious company SAP India Pvt. She has penned many research papers for various international journals and conferences. She also has books to her credit along with edited chap- ters in international books. She was awarded the Eighth Annual Excel- lence Award in Research Journal Awards for the outstanding article by IGI Global for “Mitigating Information Trust-Taking the Edge of Health Websites.” She has served as a section editor, guest editor, convener, and session chair for various reputable iournals and conferences, such as SCPE, NGCT, India Com, CSI Digital Life, IJAIP, JGIM, ICACCI, ICCCA, etc. and has reviewed many research papers. She has organized, coordinated, and attended FDPs, trainings, seminars, and workshops. She has also coor- dinated workshops for IIT Bombay under the NMEICT program initiated by the Ministry of HRD, India. She serves as a life member of various professional societies, such as CSI, ISTE, CSTA, and IAENG, and is an active member of IEEE and ACM. Dr. Bansal earned her engineering degree from Rajasthan University in 2006, followed by corporate experience with a reputed company. Further, to fulfill her academic interests, she completed her master’s and PhD degrees from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. Kavita Sharma, PhD, is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of CSE at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida, India. She formerly worked as an Assistant Professor at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Greater Noida, India, and Lecturer in Northern India Engineering College, Delhi, India. She has published five books and more than 45 research papers, chapters, editorials in international journals and conferences. She is also served as Section Editor of Scal- able Computing (SCPE). She is also serving many reputable journals as guest editor, editorial board member, and international advisory board member. In addition, Dr. Sharma has also delivered the expert talks and guest lectures at international conference and serving as the reviewer for About the Editors viii journals of IEEE, Springer, Inderscience, Wiley, etc. She is a member of IEEE, ACM, CSI (Life Member), SDIWC, Internet Society, Institute of Nanotechnology (Life Member), IAENG (Life Member), IACSIT, CSTA, and IAOE. She has actively participated in different faculty development programs and in various national and international workshops. Her areas of interest includes information and cyber security, mobile computing, android, web mining, data analytics and machine learning. Dr. Sharma received a PhD in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, (Institution of National Importance) India, and an MTech in Information Security from Ambedkar Institute Technology of Advanced Communication Technology & Research (formerly Ambedkar Institute of Technology), Delhi, India. She has also completed her BTech in IT from the I.M.S. Engineering College, Ghazi- abad, India. In addition, she was awarded a Fellowship from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Meenakshi Sharma, PhD, is working as an Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Galgotias University, India. She has over 15+ years of experience in teaching. She has published over 50 research publications in IEEE Transaction, SCIE, SCI, and Scopus. She worked as a guest editor for the International Journal of Electronics, Communications, and Measurement Engineering. She had guided one PhD candidate, and six candidates are currently under her guidance. Her research interests are big data analytics, data compression, digital image processing, and data warehousing.
