This publication contains updated information about agencies and institutions which offer culturally and linguistically appropriate services within the Commonwealth. While it is not an exhaustive listing, it is hoped that users will look upon this directory as a starting point to become better acquainted with available resources. It has been compiled by the Department's Office ofMulti-Cultural Services/Refugee Assistance Program (OMCS/RAP) which, although not listed as an entry within the directory, may also be looked upon as an additional resource. You may contact OMCS/RAP at (617) 727-4923 Ext. 366. While mental illness occurs within all groups ofpeople, regardless ofrace, ethnicity, gender or class, multi-cultural populations are often unable to access needed services due to institutional and cultural barriers. It is hoped that this directory will prove to be an additional tool in overcoming those barriers and providing critical services to all within the Commonwealth. i Dedication This Resource Directory is dedicated to those who remain behind...your presence continues to burn brightly for those who are attempting to create a future which will be healthy and whole.
