Once again we would like to wel-
come you to the Eichacker Simmen-
tal/Red Angus and JK Angus annual
bull sale, and thank you for taking
time out of your busy schedule to look through our catalog. With the variety and se-
lection of bulls available, there is sure to be something for everyone, depending on
what’s important to you and what direction you want your herd to go. Below is an
article titled “Food for Thought”, just something to consider when selecting your
next herd sire by Marty Ropp.
What a great time to be in agriculture, whether it’s grain farming or livestock,
barring any regional weather issues. The ag industry has experienced some record
prices and income. The cattle industry looks positioned to maintain these levels due
to the low cattle numbers across the country and the American people’s appetite for
beef.
We are excited to be a part of Allied Genetic Resources. It is in its infancy
stages and just getting off the ground, but we hope in time the right channels will
open up to help you, the commercial cattle producer, capture the full genetic value
of the calves from the bulls you purchase. They have recently hired a new staff
member, Jenny Stewart, to help coordinate and contact you, the commercial pro-

Eichacker Simmentals
The biggest change this year will be in the insurance department. As we have
always offered mortality insurance in the past, we are still going to offer it, but at Greg, John, Bridgett & Brady,
a reduced rate. Because we are offering mortality insurance at a reduced rate we Cathy, Amanda & Dana, Steve, Nick, Adam,
