motion' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the
Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Agricultural Tractors and PowerTillers
Sectional Committeeandapproval oftheFood andAgriCUlture Division Council.
Thisstandard wasfirstpublished in 1987andbased onISO5131 : 1982and DIS7216. Withthe
revision of ISO5131 in 1996ithasbeendecided to revise thisstandard also. Thisstandard willbe
published intwoparts. Thispart(Part2) covers measurement of noisewhen tractorin motion and
Part1covers method ofmeasurementatoperator'searlevel.
