Patton Professor of EconomicsatAmherstCollege.HereceivedaB.A.inmathematicsfromWilliams CollegeandaPh.D.ineconomicsfromtheMassachusettsInstituteofTechnology (MIT). Professor Nicholson’s primary research interests are in the econometric analyses of labor market problems, including welfare, unemployment, and the impact of international trade.
