The publications within “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing” are primarily proceedings of important conferences, symposia and congresses. They cover significant recent developments in the field, both of a foundational and applicable character. An important characteristic feature of the series is the short publication time and world-wide distribution. This permits a rapid and broad dissemination of research results. ** Indexing: The books of this series are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink ** More information about this series at http://www.springer.com/series/11156 J. These are thedevelopmentofnewintelligentcomputing-basedimageprocessingapplications, both in research problems and in real-world problems. Thisbookconsistsofcontributionsfromvariousaspectsofanalysis, designand implementation of intelligent computing-supported image processing applications which are the fundamentals of associated fields/concepts, applications, algorithms and case studies. The book contains 10 chapters. Chapter A Review of Object Detection Models Based on Convolutional Neural Network reviews some popular state-of-the-art object detection models based on CNN. In Chap. Cancerous Cell Detection Using Affine Transformation with Higher Accuracy and Sensitivity, cancerous cells are detected by affine transformation by working on multi-resolution, multi-lateral, multi-clusterimagepatternsforpredictionanalysis.InChap.AComparativeStudy of Different Feature Descriptors for Video-Based Human Action Recognition, a comparative study of different feature descriptors applied for HAR on video datasets is presented. Chapter Pose Registration of 3D Face Images deals with 3D face images, and Chap. Image Denoising Using Generative Adversarial Network discussesthewayGANsareappliedintheareaofimagede-noising.ChapterDeep Learning-Based Lossless Audio Encoder (DLLAE) addresses the deep learning-based audio encoding. PVD-based steganography, low back pain man- agement, dermatologic classifications and retinal disease detection are the contents of the rest of the chapters. v vi Preface Each paper was reviewed by at least two domain experts, and the accepted papers have been revised as per the norms of Springer AISC. Based on the com- ments of the reviewers, the papers were modified by the authors and the modified papers were examined for the incorporation of the same. Finally, ten papers are selected for publication in this special issue intelligent computing: image processing-based applications. On behalf of the editors, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the reviewers for reviewing the papers. Our sincere gratitude to the authority of Springer for giving us the opportunity to edit this volume.
