In 2012, the series acquired an international status, andselectedrevisedpapershavebeenpublishedinCommunicationsinComputer andInformationSciencesince2014.TheconferenceserieswasnamedafterAlexander Terpugov, oneofthefirstorganizers oftheconference, anoutstanding scientistofthe TomskStateUniversityandaleaderofthefamousSiberianschoolonappliedprobability, queueingtheory, andapplications. Traditionally, the conferences have about ten sections in various fields of mathematical modelling and information technologies. Throughout the years, the sections on probabilistic methods and models, queueing theory, and communication networks have been the most popular ones at the conference. These sections gather manyscientistsfromdifferentcountries.ManyforeignparticipantscometothisSiberian conferenceeveryyearbecauseofourwarmwelcomeandseriousscientificdiscussions. In 2021, the 20th ITMM conference was held online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Thisvolumepresentsselectedpapersfromthe20thITMMconference.Thepapers are devoted to new results in queueing theory and its applications. Its target audience includes specialists in probabilistic theory, random processes, and mathematical modeling, aswellasengineersengagedinlogicalandtechnicaldesignandoperational managementofdataprocessingsystems, communication, andcomputernetworks.
