Acoustics,thescienceofsound,isaratherbroadsubjecttobecoveredinasingle handbook.Itembodiesmanydifferentacademicdisciplines,suchasphysics,mechan- icalandelectricalengineering,mathematics,speechandhearingsciences,music,and architecture.
