Digital markels laskforec updale Discussion Simon McDougall and Sallie Spilsbury presented a report providing an update on the work of the Digital Markets Taskforce, where it interacted with data protection law. ET noted the importance of the ICO working closely with ather regulatars in the digital space (including social media and protecting children), to ensure that data protection regulation remained a key part of the regulatory mix. Actions 4. BU Withdrawal Update Disa Steve Wood presented a report giving assurance on end-of-transition resourcing and contingency planning, along with on overall update on work to support the EU withdrawal, He explained that we had begun to observe an increase in enquiries to the helpline regarding EU exit. James Moss to circulate the readout from the most recent meeting of the Legal Reference Panel. Steve Woad to meet with CBI and FSB at a senior level to ensure awareness of any emerging concerns or issues from industries. 5. Operation HTDA debrief ET agreed to defer this item for discussion at an ET intormal meeting. 6. EIDAS Paul Amold reported that DCMS had confirmed that there were no current actions for the ICO to take in relation te EIDAS before 31 December.
