One of the objectives for the EMC team is to alleviate the challenges of low-income families in the Muis zakat recipient list. Among others include devolving operational functions from Mosque and Disbursement & Empowerment Units (MUIS HQ) to mosques within the EMC framework. EMC will also accelerate the implementation of Mosque Convention 2005 (MC05) / 2nd MUIS 3-year plan (2M3YP) recommendations.
