The associated partners were Springer and InterYIT IFIP. The 2nd ITAF Congress featured two days of focused networking and information sharing at the IoT cutting edge. This first edition brought together researchers, leading innova- tors,businessexecutives,andindustryprofessionalstoexaminethelatestadvances and applications for commercial and industrial end users across sectors within the emerging Internet of things ecosphere. It targeted the state-of-the-art as well as emergingtopicsrelatedtotheInternetofthingssuchasbigdataresearch,emerging servicesandanalytics,Internetofthings(IoT)fundamentals,electroniccomputation andanalysis,bigdataformulti-disciplineservices,security,privacyandtrust,IoT technologies,andopenandcloudtechnologies. The main objective of the conference was to provide opportunities for the researchers, academicians, industry persons, students, and expertise from all over the world to interact and exchange ideas and experience in the field of Internet of things. It also focused on innovative issues at the international level by bringing togethertheexpertsfromdifferentcountries.
