Dr. Abid Hussain Ch. is currently serving as Dean Faculty of Education in University of the
Punjab Lahore Pakistan. He is a Professor at Institute of Education and Research, University
of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan, where he teaches a list of courses like administration,
educational leadership and management, Economics and Financing in Education,
Comparative education etc. He completed his post-doctorate from university of Glasgow,
Scotland, UK. The University of Strathclyde Glasgow is a major research-led university
operating in an international context.

He is also deeply committed to fostering meaningful, mutually beneficial, and sustainable
community partnerships. He has served in several leadership capacities in university. He
holds many leadership positions in University of the Punjab Lahore. He is serving as a
Chairman of Secondary Education. He is also holding the office of Chairman of Hall
Council of University of the Punjab Lahore.

He is well known as a good administrator due to his strong leadership vision and determined
academic economist abilities. He has been recognized for creating a vision of excellence,
attaining significant increases in student performance and bringing stability and
commitment among students.

Dr. Abid research work informed how he has worked in various academic leadership roles,
generating initiatives as well as new lines of inquiry in professional and leadership
development, interdisciplinary learning, diversity and inclusion, intergenerational
mentoring, and academic collaboration. He wrote and presented a lot of Research Papers in
National and International Research Conferences. He also chaired the conference sessions
nationally and international. Recently, he chaired the conference sessions in University of
Toronto, Canada.
