The application manages enterprise financial data and enables compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards. This release of Global Ledger provides flexibility that improves transaction process for organizations. Global Ledger allows you to define an unlimited number of dimensions to track as much detail as needed on every transaction line. The hierarchies in Global Ledger allow you have as many levels and as many different rollups as needed. You can define an unlimited number of calendars to support reporting requirements. The reporting basis pulls together the correct transactions grouped in the correct periods, for the appropriate reporting requirements. In addition, the solution automatically provides the information in Infor Business Intelligence (BI) without the additional step of creating reports. Key features Full history – Global Ledger provides complete transaction history. The product includes pervasive auditing and effective dating on unlimited transactions. Reporting is one of the biggest drivers of how a system is configured. Infor CloudSuite Financials Global Ledger is the core solution for Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management. Global Ledger is a central repository for data from other Infor CloudSuite Financials &Supply Management subledgers. Global Ledger navigation overview The Global Ledger user interface is an intuitive and highly collaborative environment. The most significant change with this release of CloudSuite Financials is that the views are now role-based. The current role is identified in the banner of the user interface and is changed by accessing a drop-down list. Below the banner is the menu that you use to access various pages. When accessing a record, a list displays in the left panel and a toolbar displays at the top of the page. When you click on a tab in the left panel, the associated record displays in the right panel. To retrieve additional information about fields: place your cursor in the field and press control-shift-left click.
