Great coaches are the ones 6 who have the ability to generate performances from their athletes without getting 7 heavy handed or shouting the odds! 8 I have worked with many coaches, but the best coaches are the ones you spend time 9 with and work with over many years. A coach like this has the ability to adapt to the 20 changing needs of the athlete, is gracious in accepting new ideas and is willing to work 1 through rough times as well as the times when you can’t stop winning! 2 The true colours of a great coach can only be seen in times of hardship and it is 3 during these times an athlete will know whether their coach can take the giant leap from 4 being a successful coach to being an outstanding coach.
