Amigos for Christ 2012 ANNUAL REPORT What the world needs is people who have come alive. amigosforchrist.org | 1845 South Lee Court Suite A, Buford, GA 30518 | (770) 614-9250 | Like us on facebook 2012 IN REVIEW At Amigos for Christ, we love to celebrate our successes. In the following pages, you will see why 2012 was the best year yet of our 14 year history. Together with community members, we sprayed more water, shared more meals, graduated more students, and sold more crops than ever before. We want to share this joy with you in our annual report. In the past year, we have evaluated our development model in search of ways to make our programs more effective. We continued our mission to serve the poor through bringing clean, abundant water to remote areas that have gone without a healthy drinking supply. But water alone is not enough. In 2012, we improved health conditions for the rural poor, we helped children stay in school past the second grade, and we offered resources that will help families rise out of poverty. With our focus on these four goals, we have found that our work can have a dramatic impact on thousands of families in Nicaragua. You are a huge part of our ongoing success. Your willingness to contribute your The Bland Family talents and blessings fuels our work. At the very heart of Amigos for Christ, we are a Robert, Annie, Sabrina, John, Nidia mission of people sharing our gifts with others to honor our awesome God.
