Studentsshouldsubmittotheregistrar,dean,headoftheacademicdepartment,orotherappropriateofficial,awrittenrequestidentifvingtherecord(s) theywishtoinspect. TheUniversityofficialwillmakearrangementsforaccessandnotifythestudentofthetimeandplacewheretherecordsmaybeinspected.Ifthe recordsarenotmaintainedbytheUniversityofficialtowhomtherequestwassubmitted,thatofficialshalladvisethestudentofthecorrectofficial towhomtherequestshouldbeaddressed. 2.Therighttorequesttheamendmentofthestudent'seducationrecordsthatthestudentbelievesareinaccurateormisleading. StudentsmayasktheUniversitytoamendarecordthattheybelieveisinaccurateormisleading.Tochallengetheaccuracyofaneducationrecord, thestudentshouldwritetotheregistrarorotherUniversityofficialresponsiblefortherecordandclearlyidentifythepartoftherecordhe/shewants changedandspecifywhyitisinaccurateormisleading.IftheUniversityofficialdecidesnottoamendtherecordasrequestedbythestudent,theUni- versityofficialwillnotifyhis/hervicepresident.Thevicepresidentwillthennotifythestudentofhis/herrighttoahearingregardingtherequestfor anamendment.Additionalinformationregardingthehearingprocedureswillbeprovidedtothestudentwhennotifiedofhis/herrighttoahearing.
