Uphold her though the years. - -- - - 2 ClarI' on - • - ., - - _- - - . - • Table of Contents 3 - • • ......... ----------------------------------------------------- With the summer coming to a close and the air getting cooler, U-High welcomed back three classes of students and brought in a new one. The year started off strong, but only got stronger: unexpected state championship wins in both Boys' Soccer and Boys' Golf brought a hearty dose of Pioneer pride to each student walking the halls. As the leaves fell, students rekindled their school spirit and began to gear up for the year ahead. 4 Clarion Football games, Homecoming, and Mr. U-High are just a small part of all the fall festivities that go on at U-High. Other things like pep rallies and the Greek Olympics bolster the family spirit of U High. "Fall was great." junior Mati Zacharias said. "I was just out there having fun." "From my poinl of 0 \'ley a cheerleader, I get to watch the entire student section go crazy, and so it's even more exciting than the game: Rodriguez's experience al lhe m Homecoming game was nothing short of exciting. Being crowned as Homecoming queen was "very surprising: Senior Austin Spaulding, who crowned king, agreed with Rodriguez. "I was shocked, to say the leas!.' lI:l! Spaulding said. Assistant Principal Steve Evans seemed less surprisedal!he results, "They've put themselves on a path to be recognized. Austin UllUIIIlIII are involved and friendly," Evans said. "There's no formula 10 being ClO1I1l111I Be you and people will like you." Spaulding said. It was not only the football game that got everyone exciled and in lhe homecoming spirit. "I really enjoy watching the powder puff game. II seealt like everyone is having fun while doing it too: Evans said. The senior girls played an aggressive game. With the help of Iheir coach, Joshua Herlden_1 they were able to come out on top for the second year in a row. back victory was undoubtedly a unique one.
