The year started off strong, but only got stronger: unexpected state championship wins in both Boys' Soccer and Boys' Golf brought a hearty dose of Pioneer pride to each student walking the halls. As the leaves fell, students rekindled their school spirit and began to gear up for the year ahead. 4 Clarion Football games, Homecoming, and Mr. U-High are just a small part of all the fall festivities that go on at U-High. Other things like pep rallies and the Greek Olympics bolster the family spirit of U High. "Fall was great." junior Mati Zacharias said. "I was just out there having fun." Being crowned as Homecoming queen was "very surprising: Senior Austin Spaulding, who crowned king, agreed with Rodriguez. "I was shocked, to say the leas!.' lI:l! Spaulding said. Assistant Principal Steve Evans seemed less surprisedal!he results, "They've put themselves on a path to be recognized. Austin UllUIIIlIII are involved and friendly," Evans said.
