It is indeed an immense pleasure for me to present the annual report and the audited accounts of the Institute for the year 2012-2013. The Institute’s dedication to foster human service professionals and teachings in the range of technical, social and human development continued through the pass years in the PROF. M. JAWED, midst of all odds. CIT is a place which is positive, DIRECTOR, CIT, KOKRAJHAR harmonious and productive for young staffs both teaching and non-teaching as well as for the young students. CIT has humble start with just four disciplines of Diploma in engineering courses in the year 2006. But today CIT is offering both Diploma and B.Tech. Degree courses in 7 different disciplines such as Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Sciences Engineering (CSE), Instrumentation Engineering (IE), Food Processing Technology (FPT), Civil Engineering (Construction Technology), Information Technology (only Degree), and Animation and Multimedia Technology (only Diploma) with more than 1000 students from various parts of our country. The year 2013 is immense importance in this history of CIT as 178 students from the four disciplines of ECE, IE, FPT and CSE have graduated with bachelors’ degree in the month of July-August 2013. The first phase of construction activities of CIT which was started in the year of 2007 has almost completed. The second phase of construction activities has now started in the middle of the year. The departments have developed well equipped laboratories and workshops with latest instruments.
