[G O.Ms.No.179 , Health ,M edical and Family Welfare (G .2 ), 2 9th December ,2 021. ] NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Articles 309 of the Constitution of India , and of all other powers herein to enabling the Governor of Andhra Pradesh , hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.273 , Health , Medical and Family Welfare (H 1 ) Department dated 24th April , 1989 and as amended from time to time . AMENDMENTS In the said Special Rules : 1. For Rule 3, t he following shall be substituted , namely , [ 1 ] 2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [P art -I * 3 . METHOD OF APPOINTMENT : Category Method of appointment : By promotion from among the Multipurpose Multipurpose Health Extension Officer Health Supervisor (M ale ) Multipurpose Health : By promotion from among the Multipurpose Supervisor (M ale ) Health Assistant (M ale ) : By promotion from among the Multipurpose Multipurpose Health Supervisor (F emale ) Health Assistant (F emale ) Multipurpose Health : By Direct Recruitment Assistant (M ale ) Multipurpose Health : By promotion from among the Multipurpose Assistant (F emale ) Health Assistant (F emale ) Grade -I II / ANM Grade -I II working in Village /W ard Secretariats Multipurpose Health : By Direct Recruitment Assistant (F emale ) Grade III /A NM Grade -I II 2. In rule 4 , under the table for the posts of Multipurpose Health Assistant (M ale & Female ), Multipurpose Health Assistant (F emale ) Grade III /A NM Grade -I II in column (2 ) and for the corresponding entries in columns (3 ) and (5 ) , the following shall be substituted , namely , "S . Qualifications No. recruitment No (1 ) (2 ) (5 ) 3 (a ) Multipurpose BY direct (i ) Must have passed intermediate or Health Assistant recruitment any other equivalent qualification (M ale ) and (i i) A Sanitary Inspector Training Course Certificate awarded by the Chairman of the Board of Examiners constituted by the State Government (b ) Multipurpose By (1 ) Must have put in a regular service of Health Assistant promotion not less than 3 years in the category (F emale ) of Multipurpose Health Assistant (F emale ) GGrraaddee --II IIII //A ANNMM Grade -I II and must be an probationer in that category a.p proved For declaration of probation in the category of Multipurpose Health Assistant (F emale ) Grade -I II /A NM grade III 3, the individual has to pass the departmental test without books three years conducted by the APPSC within from date of appointment . January 4 , 2022 ] ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY 3 Direct (i ) (c ) a Multipurpose By Must possess Certificate Health Assistant Recruitment Multipurpose Health Workers of (F emale ) Grade Training Courses of 18/24 months III / ANM Grade -I II conducted by the State Government (i i) Physical fitness for Camp life " 3. For Rule 5 (w hich was wrongly numbered as Rule 4 in the existing Rules ), the following shall be substituted , namely , “5 . APPOINTING AUTHORITY : The appointing authority for the posts of Multipurpose Health Extension Officer and Multipurpose Health Supervisor (M ale & Female ) shall be the Regional Director of Medical and Health Services concerned and for the post of Multipurpose Health Assistant (M ale & Female ) and Multipurpose Health Assistant (F emale ) Grade -I II /A NM Grade -I II of Village / Ward Secretariats shall be the District Medical and Health Officer of the District concerned ." 4. For Rule 6 (w hich was wrongly numbered as Rule 5 in the existing Rules ), the following shall be substituted , namely , “ 6. PRIVATE PRACTICE : All the incumbents of the post of Multipurpose Health Extension Officer , Multipurpose Health Supervisor (M ale & Female ) and Multipurpose Health Assistant (M ale & Female ) and Multipurpose Health Assistant (F emale ) Grade III /A NM /M PHA (F ) Grade -I II shall not engage in private practice ." 7 . This G.O. is issued with the concurrence of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission , vide their letter No.551 /R & R /2 021 , Dated .2 7.12.2021 .
