ABSTRACT

The probelms of the research was to analyze noise and vibration of hand tractor.
Noise was measured with digital sound level meter. The result revealed that noise
level of hand tractor Swan R 100 which was ≥90 dB exceeded the critical
tolerance level of 85 dB, while the type of hand tractor which suite for the
operator of hand tractor of Ajung village are hand tractor Yanmar YXZ. To reduce
noise and vibration, it was suggested to improve construction of hand tractor by
improving engine design especially the muffler, installing a spring ring on each
bolt, mounting shock adsorber, as well as using engine engine revitalizat. It was
also recommended to use ear protector.

Traktor tangan yang bekerja di sawah ini menimbulkan getaran yang
cukup besar yang masuk ke tangan operator. Getaran ini disebabkan antara lain
oleh mesin penggerak dan roda yang berjalan di atas tanah yang tidak rata dan
tanpa dilengkapi dengan suspensi. Desain yang lebih baik dengan memperhatikan
faktor ergonomi atau tingkat kenyamanan operator pada saat pengoperasian di
sisi petani akan memberikan produktivitas yang lebih tinggi, karena daya tahan
pengoperasian lebih lama dan turut menjaga kesehatan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui batas kebisingan yang dapat
diterima oleh operator sehingga dapat menentukan kondisi optimum operator
dalam melakukan pengolahan tanah dan memberikan kriteria traktor tangan
yang sesuai dengan karakteristik fisik petani di desa Ajung. Hasil studi

Ajung Kecamatan Ajung Jember danTraktor tangan merk Swan R 100 memiliki
tingkat intensitas kebisingan yang paling tinggi. Tingkat Kebisingan traktor
tangan yang digunakan oleh petani desa Ajung kecamatan Ajung Kabupaten
Jember adalah ≥90 dB, melebihi batas yang diijinkan yaitu 85dB. Upaya yang
dapat dilakukan untuk mengetahui kebisingan dan getaran mekanis pada traktor
tangan adalah perbaikan konstruksi, diantaranya dengan perbaikan rancang
bangun motor, modifikasi muffler (knalpot), pemasangan ring per pada semua
baut, serta penggunaan shock adsorber dan engine revitalizant. Selain itu juga
diperlukan penggunaan pelindung telinga bagi operator traktor tangan.

PRAKATA

Puji syukur ke hadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa atas segala rahmat dan
karunia-Nya sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan skripsi yang berjudul
”Analisis Ergonomi Pada Traktor Tangan Dengan Kajian Aspek Antrophometry
dan Pengaruh Kebisingan Terhadap Operator”. Skripsi ini disusun untuk
memenuhi salah satu syarat menyelesaikan pendidikan strata satu (S1) pada
Jurusan Teknik Pertanian Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Universitas Jember.
