RESUMO
Em Portugal, nestes últimos anos, tem-se promovido a intervenção nos edifícios escolares com intuito
de os recuperar e modernizar. Estes são edifícios que merecem uma atenção redobrada, pois tratam-se
de locais com uma utilização diária intensa.
A Direção do CICCOPN sensível à necessidade de melhorar as condições de ensino e conforto dos seus
utilizadores (formandos, formadores e funcionários) e para fazer face ao desgaste provocado pelo uso e
aos problemas construtivos a que o edifício está sujeito, aceitou a realização deste estágio, tendo em
vista um levantamento das patologias existentes no mesmo e a definição de uma metodologia de
reparação das situações mais frequentes.
Nesse sentido, e a fim de garantir a eficácia das soluções, propostas de reparação das patologias do
edifício, procedeu-se primeiramente a uma fase de diagnóstico e de inspeção. A informação relativa ao
diagnóstico das patologias evidenciadas é apresentada sob a forma de fichas de inspeção, tendo sido
feito também o seu registo em planta onde as mesmas se encontram assinaladas por cores em função
da sua gravidade e urgência de intervenção.
Verificou-se também que as infiltrações de água pela envolvente exterior do edifício (cobertura e
fachadas) foram as principais anomalias encontradas e as causas resultam sobretudo da adoção de
soluções construtivas inadequadas.
Este trabalho contempla ainda, numa fase posterior, um conjunto de recomendações, que norteiam na
definição de soluções de reparação, de forma a garantir que as mesmas asseguram resultados
satisfatórios a longo prazo.

ABSTRACT
In Portugal, in recent years, intervention has been promoted in educational buildings with the aim of
recovering and modernizing them. These are buildings that deserve more attention, because they are
places with an intense daily use.
CICCOPN’s management, aware of the need to improve the teaching and comfort conditions of those
using its facilities (trainees, trainers and employees) and to cope with the wear and tear caused by the
use and the constructive problems to which the building is subject accepted this internship, with the
goal of preparing a survey of the pathologies and organising a methodology for repairing the most
frequent situations.
Thus, in order to ensure the effectiveness of the proposed solutions for repairing the building's
pathologies, a diagnostics and inspection phase was first carried out. The information related to the
diagnosis of the pathologies evidenced is presented in the form of inspection records, and it has also
been registered in a plan where they are marked by colours according to their severity and urgency of
intervention.
It was also verified that the infiltrations of water through the building’s envelope (both roof and
façades) were the main anomalies found and the causes mainly derive from the adoption of inadequate
constructive solutions.
This work also includes, at a later stage, a set of recommendations, which guide the definition of
remedial solutions, in order to ensure that they achieve satisfactory results in the long term.
