I just finished taking my 1911 completely apart, down to the last screw and spring, cleaning it, and putting it back together. It
was pain In my assholes. That thing can be such a drama queen when It comes to putting all the pieces back together.

For coolness, literally. That's how it is justified. And also the fact that It's highly accurate and I wanted an accurate pistol. The
1911 Is a better reflection of my style than a glock, and if I sold the glock then I could clearly afford a 1911.

I also train with my modern holsters. I'm pretty fast with shoulder holster (as fast as that will allow, it's intrinsically a slow spot
to draw from) but I can't seem to get my IWB with 1911 draw down. If I go fast, the gun always gets caught on the front sight.
It seems like the only thing I can do is "slow is smooth and smooth is fast' in regards to 1911 IWB.
