ThisSpringerimprintispublishedbytheregisteredcompanySpringerNatureSwitzerlandAG Theregisteredcompanyaddressis:Gewerbestrasse11,6330Cham,Switzerland Preface This volume contains the papers and extended abstracts presented at the 15th Inter- national Symposium on Algorithmic Game Theory (SAGT 2022), held during September12–15,2022,inColchester,UK.ThepurposeofSAGTistobringtogether researchers from computer science, economics, mathematics, operations research, psychology, physics, and biology to present and discuss original research at the intersection of algorithms and game theory. This year, we received a record number of 83 submissions which were rigorously peer-reviewedbytheProgramCommittee(PC).Eachpaperwasreviewedbyatleast3 PC members, and evaluated on the basis of originality, significance, and exposition. ThePCeventuallydecidedtoaccept34paperstobepresentedattheconference,foran acceptance ratio of 41%. The works accepted for publication in this volume cover most of the major aspects ofalgorithmic game theory, including auctiontheory, mechanism design, markets and matchings, computational aspects of games, resource allocation problems, and com- putational social choice. To accommodate the publishing traditions of different fields, authors of accepted papers could ask that only a one-page abstract of the paper appearedintheproceedings.Amongthe34acceptedpapers,theauthorsofthreepapers selected this option. Furthermore, due to the generous support by Springer, we were able to provide a BestPaperAward.ThePCdecidedtogivetheawardtothepaper“FinancialNetworks withSingletonLiabilityPriorities”byStavrosIoannidis,BartdeKeijzer, andCarmine Ventre. The program also included three invited talks by distinguished researchers in algorithmic game theory, namely Ioannis Caragiannis (Aarhus University, Denmark), Aggelos Kiayias (University of Edinburgh and IOHK, UK), and Sigal Oren (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel). In addition, SAGT 2022 featured two tutorial talks: one given by Aris Filos-Ratsikas (University of Liverpool, UK) and Alexandros Hollender (University of Oxford, UK) and the other one by Rohit Vaish (IndianInstituteofTechnologyDelhi,India).Wewouldliketothankalltheauthorsfor their interest in submitting their work to SAGT 2022, as well as the PC members and theexternalreviewersfortheirgreatworkinevaluatingthesubmissions.Wealsowant to thank Meta, IOHK, Google, Springer, the Artificial Intelligence Journal, and CSEE at the University of Essex for their generous financial support. We are grateful to the University of Essex for hosting the conference. Finally, we would like to thank Springer for their work on the proceedings, as well as the Easy- Chair conference management system for facilitating the peer-review process.
