Advances in Mechanics: Theoretical, Computational and Interdisciplinary Editors Issues contains 132 contributions presented at the PCM-CMM-2015 Kleiber Congress (Gdan´sk, Poland, 8-11 September, 2015), and covers theoretical, Burczyn´ski experimental and computational mechanics as well as interdisciplinary issues, including industrial applications. Special attention is paid to the Wilde theoretical background and practical applications of computational Górski mechanics. Winkelmann Smakosz The Congress is a joint scientific event of the 3rd Polish Congress of Mechanics (PCM) and the 21st International Conference on Computer Methods in Mechanics (CMM). The idea of the PCM was fi rstly suggested in 2005 by the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. The 21st CMM continues the 44-year series of conferences organized by the Polish Association for Computational Mechanics. Advances in Mechanics: Theoretical, Computational and Interdisciplinary Issues will be of interest to researchers and designers dealing with mechanics and its applications. aT A ADVANCES IN MECHANICS nh D de V o I A nr te N Theoretical, Computational et C rdic E isal S and Interdisciplinary Issues , c I iC N po lm M i n ap E ru C Editors yt H a Isstio AN Michał Kleiber Jarosław Górski un I Tadeusz Burczyn´ski Karol Winkelmann ea C sl S Krzysztof Wilde Łukasz Smakosz an informa business ADVANCES IN MECHANICS: THEORETICAL, COMPUTATIONAL AND INTERDISCIPLINARY ISSUES PPCCMM22001155__BBooookk..iinnddbb ii 33//2211//22001166 1122::3388::2277 PPMM TThhiiss ppaaggee iinntteennttiioonnaallllyy lleefftt bbllaannkk PROCEEDINGS OF THE 3RD POLISH CONGRESS OF MECHANICS (PCM) & 21ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTER METHODS IN MECHANICS (CMM) – PCM-CMM-2015 CONGRESS, GDAN´SK, POLAND, 8–11 SEPTEMBER 2015 Advances in Mechanics: Theoretical, Computational and Interdisciplinary Issues Editors Michał Kleiber (IFTR PAS) Jarosław Górski (FCEE GUT) Tadeusz Burczyński (IFTR PAS) Karol Winkelmann (FCEE GUT) Krzysztof Wilde (FCEE GUT) Łukasz Smakosz (FCEE GUT) (IFTR PAS) Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland (FCEE GUT) Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Gdańsk University of Technology, Gdańsk, Poland PPCCMM22001155__BBooookk..iinnddbb iiiiii 33//2211//22001166 1122::3388::2277 PPMM CRC Press/Balkema is an imprint of the Taylor & Francis Group, an informa business © 2016 Taylor & Francis Group, London, UK Typeset by V Publishing Solutions Pvt Ltd., Chennai, India Printed and bound by CPI Group (UK) Ltd, Croydon, CR0 4YY All rights reserved.
