By Walt Moore Just when you thought it was over, There was another chapter to start. Just when you thought it was over, You forgot to do a pait. Just when you thought it was over, There was always eighth hour. Just when you thought it was over, You had to multiply by one more power. Just when you thought it was over, There was one more lap to run Just when you thought it was over, You realized practice wasn't very fun. Just when you thought it was over, There was a brand new class. Just when you thought it was over, You remembered those were the times. Opening 3 Spirit Week '99 Just when you thought it was over ..... spirit week was changed The 1999-2000 homecoming spirit week changed this year by having many new activities including the biggest change of all, Field Day. This year was the first year all the high school students gathered onto the football field to participate in many fun activities includmg potato sack races, three-legged race, spoon and egg race, balloon toss, pie eating contest, limbo, wheelbarrow race, and class tug-o-war. And of course the senior class of 2000 won the first annual Field Day. AI o during Spirit Week the students participated in Hawaiian Day, Lei Day, Beach and Sunglass Day, Class Color Day, and Trojan Spirit Day D. Modesty and M. Spirit Week s This was the third year of the powder puff game and it turned out to be one of the most exciting. The junior and senior girls faced off on September 22 in a flag football grudge match to determine who would own the bragging rights.
