Town of Arlington, MA - Conservation Commission Minutes 01/22/2009 Page 1 of 1 Conservation Commission Minutes 01/22/2009 ARLINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION MINUTES JANUARY 22, 2009 Mr. Stevens called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Town Hall Annex. Present were Nathaniel Stevens, David White, Ezra Benjamin, William O’Rourke and Catherine Garnett of the Commission. Brian Thomas, applying for Associate membership, was also in attendance. Ellen Reed and Charles Tirone, of the Commission, were not in attendance. 7:45 p.m. - COMMISSION BUSINESS O’Rourke/White motioned to approve the reimbursement of expenses for office materials to Ms. Beckwith for $70.20; motion passed unanimously. Benjamin/O’Rourke motioned to amend the Conservation Land regulations to those drafted by Mr. White; motion passed unanimously. A series of questions have been received on the Cookes Hollow RFP. This Commission discussed the responses and Mr. White will compose an email of the responses. Mr. Stevens found a program grant that might be used for reprinting the Walking book. He is looking for a volunteer to work on this project. Ms. Beckwith will prompt the next step, meetings with either the Town Manager or Director of Planning, in the approval process for Brian Thomas to become an Associate member. Ms. Beckwith discussed the hearing schedule with the members to ensure a quorum. The late February meeting will not have a quorum, due to multiple members being out of town. Meeting adjourned at 9pm.
