Itinerary : (DELHI – AGRA – DELHI) 203 Kms, Approx 4 hrs drive one way.

0700 hrs : Pick up from your hotel in New Delhi and Drive to Agra via Yamuna Express Way.

1100 - 1230 hrs : Upon arrival in Agra, visit Taj Mahal - world
famous marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jehan in the ever
lasting memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, It is widely
considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and
stands as a symbol of eternal love. Taj Mahal is the finest example of
Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian,
Islamic and Indian architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a
UNESCO World Heritage Site.

1300 - 1400 hrs : Lunch at a deluxe restaurant

1415 - 1500 hrs : Visit Agra Fort which is a huge monument of
red sandstone that dominate a bend in the river Yamuna, 2 km
northwest of Taj Mahal was build by the Mughal during 1565-1571. The
fort contains wonderful mosques and palaces in red sandstone and
white marble erected by two generations of inventive builders during
the time of Akbar and afterward Jehangir and Shahjahan.

1530 - 1600 hrs : Shopping at Agra which is famous for its marble and soft-stone inlay work,
leather goods, brassware, carpets and chilanwork fabrics which involve delicate yarn onverlays. Semi-
precious and precious jewellery in ornate Mughal style is also available.

1600 hrs : Drive back to Delhi, reach Hotel 2000 Hrs (approx.)

02. OVERNIGHT AGRA TOUR
DAY 01 : (DELHI – AGRA – DELHI) 203 Kms, Approx 4 hrs drive one way
- Early morning drive to Agra
- Upon arrival, check in at the hotel
- Afternoon visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal
- Live Show on Taj in the evening

Morning vehicle will depart from the venue / hotel at around 8:00 AM by road. The journey will take
approx. 4 hours to reach Agra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

After lunch, proceed to visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.

Proceed on to visit Agra’s impressive Fort where you are taken through
the chambers of this royal residence. As you drive through the city
witness the local life and bazaars (markets) and the hustle bustle of
everyday India

After visiting Agra Fort, continue your tour and visit Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal was built by an emperor in memory of his beloved
queen. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to
have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working
around the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the
legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. What makes the Taj Mahal
unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of
construction and ornamentation.

This morning drive to Delhi en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone
city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. It was a veritable fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are
still in a pristine condition. It is not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days
of its grandeur

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. The city of
victory, Jaipur presides over the fascinating desert state and
its people: surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a
formidable fort; and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens
dotted throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of
yesteryear that were witness to royal processions and
splendor are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally
into the lifestyles of the people of the "pink city". Except for
the busy traffic of bicycles, cars and buses, little seems to
have changed. There is a timeless quality to Jaipur's bazaars
and its people. With its historical past, Jaipur revives legends
of the ancient Rajputs. The dresses of the women and the
turbans of the men add colour to this fascinating city.

DAY 2: Drive from Jaipur to Delhi (260 kms / 5 hrs approx)

Early morning excursion to Amber fort situated at a distance of
11kms in the outskirts of the city is Amber Fort, the ancient
capital of the State until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall
of Victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. You can have the unique
experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of
the hill on which the fort is situated. It has halls of Public and
Private audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) various
marble palaces which are marvelous examples of ancient
Rajput architecture. Ride an elephant to ascend the hill on
which the Fort is situated.

During your tour of the pink city, visit the City Palace the
former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and
Mughal styles which houses a museum with a superb collection
of Rajasthani costumes and armoury of the Mughals and
Rajputs, including swords of different shapes and sizes with
ornate handles. It has an art gallery with an excellent collection
of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare
astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit. Also
visit the Jantar Mantar - an astrological and astronomical
Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 18th century, which
is remarkable for its accuracy even at the Present times. Lastly
stop at Palace-of-Winds Hawa Mahal for taking pictures and spend time in crowded lanes
& by lanes of pink city, haggling and souvenir-hunting.

Start by 1500hrs for return to Delhi (Approx 260 kms/5-6 hrs Drive). Arrive & transfer to
airport for onward destination.

Visit Taj Mahal - the inimitable poem in white marble. Built
over a period of 22 years, by the Mughal Emperor Shah
Jahan in 1630, for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her
mortal remains, it is Number One of the Seven modern
wonders of the World. Around 20,000 workers from all over
the country and central Asia were recruited to translate this
dream into a reality. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays).

Visit the Agra Fort built by three Mughal Emperors starting
from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of
design and construction. Within the fort are a number of
exquisite buildings including the Moti Masjid, Jahangir's
Palace, Khaas Mahal and the Sheesh Mahal, Diwane-i-Am,
Diwane-i- Khas and Musamman Burj, where Emperor Shah
Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor, died a prisoner.

DAY 2: Drive from Agra to Jaipur (235kms / 5 hrs approx)

- Breakfast at hotel
- Drive to Jaipur
- Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur (Approx 232 kms/5
hrs Drive).

Visit Fatehpur Sikri. This exquisite city built by Akbar the Great
in 1569, in red sandstone; with its forts, palaces and mosques
was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political
reasons. The Diwan-i-am - a vast courtyard in which the emperor
gave daily public audience; Diwan-i-khas - a large quadrangle
which contained all the major functions of the Palace, Pachisi
court, the Emperors private living quarter, Jodha Bhai’s Palace,
Mariam’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important
buildings of this residential complex. Thereafter proceed to Jaipur.

Arrive Jaipur by the evening and check in to hotel.
