This class saw the initiation of the strategic plan, Elevate Impact, and your participation and insights helped me tremendously in shaping the plan. Whether you attended our various input sessions, emailed me your thoughts, spoke with me during Office Hours, or participated on an MQP team, your voice was heard! Thank you for your dedication to this great institution, and for your passion for its future. You were also here for the historic decision to bid farewell to Alumni Gym, the 100-year old building that served the campus so well for so long, and to usher in the plans to build the Foisie Innovation Studio. You helped us with those plans, too, ensuring your legacy on this campus in a building that will celebrate creative thinking and teamwork for the betterment of the global community. You saw us launch several new project centers across the globe, including locations in Israel, Ecuador, Panama, and Worcester, England. A nd speaking of teamwork, you shone on the playing fields this year, too. Our athletics programs had great success. We salute you for representing WPI so well with your talent, skill, dedication, and superior sportsmanship. Your academic accomplishments were also significant, and these were recognized through your acceptance into graduate programs, your exciting job offers, and your service to our nation with the military. Your curiosity and drive to find new knowledge made us all better. Now as you move forward, I urge you to stay connected to your alma mater. Participate in alumni activities. Come back to campus often. Help us spread the word about this special institution. And of course, keep us apprised of what you are up to! This is the beginning of the new phase of our relationship with you, and we look forward to celebrating your achievements and milestones for many years to come! I am so deeply proud of all of you.
