This standard was first published in 1978. Inthis revision, it is being aligned with the corresponding ISO Standard under dual numbering. In this adopted standard certain terminology and conventions are not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following: a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’. b) Comma (,) has been used as adecimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker. ISO 2451. 3 PROCEDURE 4 EXPRESSION OF RESULTS 3.1 Preparation of the test sample Express the result for each kind of defect as a percentage of the 300 beans examined. Thoroughly mix the final lot sample (laboratory sample) obtained by the method specified in ISO 2292.
