The Baramul Stud-consigned colt, who was catalogued as Lot 269, is the sixth living foal out of the juvenile winner Amalienborg (Danehill), who is a sister to Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Danelagh and a half-sister to Group Three winner Cable (Last Tycoon). Danelagh is the dam of Australian Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) winner Dizelle (Zabeel) and Hong Kong Horse of the Year Vengeance Of Rain (Zabeel). Dizelle is also the dam of last year’s VRC Oaks (Gr 1, 2500m) winner Pinot (Pierro). His second dam is the the Perth Cup (Gr 2, 3200m) winner Palatious (Semipalatinsk), who was a sister to stakes winners Memphis Blues, Evasion and the stakes-placed Bluetinsk and Russian Trader. Soon after the session-topping Zoustar colt sold, Chalmers added a Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo) filly for $100,000. Catalogued as Lot 275 from the Eureka Stud-Cornerstone Stud Partnership, the filly is the fifth foal out of the winning mare Animated (Dehere), who is the dam of juvenile winner Congressional (Sebring).
