When the book arrived, I dove right in, curious to see if Tosca would have the answer to my never-ending quest to lose weight (10 extra pounds that I swear have been with me since high school). I read the book cover to cover, and when I was done, I was overwhelmed with emotion. Here seemed to lie the answer that I’d been looking for: how to feed my body and not starve (I’ll never throw out my low-cut jeans in favor of “mom jeans”). A few days later, I called Tosca to tell her how much I loved the book, and we quickly bonded over our shared passion for clean eating and fitness.
