It feels like just yesterday we entered Marlborough High with inexperience and excitement for what the future had to hold. Within the pages of this yearbook, we hope to bring you something that you will be able to look back on years from now and laugh, reminiscing on the times we shared as a class. Nothing can replace the jokes, the hardships, or the spirit that binded our class into one. We also want to give thanks to the rest of the Yearbook staff for putting in the hard work neccessary to pass those deadlines, and a big thank you to Mrs. Mattingly for giving us the opportunity to pour our passion into this book. Here's to the recollections we shared, and the adventures to come. Amaya Solis and Andrea Sims Having been with you for the past three years now, I have seen your growth and maturity as a class. What has stood out for me is the transformation you have initiated within the school. From our meetings last year leading to step- up day to our opening year meeting this year where we introduced #TheMarlboroughWay, you have embraced your role setting the tone for Marlborough High School. You bring a sense of calm and joy to the school that we haven't seen in a while. I'm not sure what to attribute it to ... maybe it's your prowess decorating hallways, or your undefeated PowderPuff record, your talents in academics, the arts, and athletics, or perhaps it's just what people say about you when they refer to you. They talk about how you can come together so easily, yet you are also true to your individuality. They talk about the joy and spirit you bring and also talk about your humility. They talk about how intense and focused you are in your performances and contests, while also being so very kind to others. You have a niceness about you that is supremely endearing, Class of 201 8. You remind me of what Paulo Cuelho wrote, "When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too." Continue to experience the world and make it a better place, Class of 201 8. We look forward to when you return and enrich us with everything you've learned. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Class Advisors It has been our honor to serve the class of 201 8. You have proven to be spirited, united, positive, and compassionate. Your service to the Marlborough Community and to our school is admirable and we are proud of your accomplishments. Remember and treasure the friendships you have made and be open to new experiences. Take chances, embrace adventure, be unique, and share your talents with the world. Congratulations and best wishes for a bright and prosperous future. Your Class Advisors, Mrs. Shomphe and Mr. St. George Class Officers To the Class of 201 8, Congratulations! It is so hard to believe how fast these four years of high school have gone by! We have been together for such a long time, we never thought a time would come where we would have to separate. We have had such a wild journey through these past four years; and despite all of our class' constant "Ls", we made up for them by winning Powderpuff as Juniors, class hall decorating EVERY YEAR, and, finally, winning the spirit stick our senior year. Everything we have learned in high school has led us up to this point, and we are all now able to continue on whichever path life takes us, outside of Marlborough High. We made it!
