PLUG-TYPE CONNECTORS AND RESERVE WIRING Introduction This album contains diagrams of feeder lines and all electric and radio equipment power feeding that is installed on aircraft. Album is intended for technical personnel, engaged in aircraft maintenance.Album is arranged according to serial drawings, by contents it corresponds to actual technical documentation. Album includes following chapters: 1. Power sources 2. Power plant 3. Take-off and landing devices 4. Lighting and heating 5. Instruments and avionics 6. Radio equipment 7. Electrical boxes and instrument panels 8. Plug-type connectors and reserve wiring Feeder line schemes in this album are particular elaboration of principal, wiring and electrical/ radio/ avionics diagrams. Their location in album corresponds to feeder notional contents. Each feeder is represented by both: principal and wiring diagrams, supplied with specification. NOTES: 1. Unlike all others radio equipment feeders are represented with wiring diagram and specification only. 2. Album presents electrical boxes and instrument panels in a form of wiring diagrams. 3. To make work with principal diagrams easier wiring diagrams of ready-made units are given. However they are only for general notice. When working on ready-made unit circuits one should use diagrams, included in documentation on that unit. Wiring diagram number reflects album chapter, to which a particular feeder belongs, feeder serial number in a chapter and diagram type (principal or wiring). Digital numbering of diagram and specification for the same feeder coincide. EXAMPLE. feeder “Ignition” is represented with two diagrams and specification that have following numbering: 2.1.0. Ignition principal diagram 2.1.0.M Ignition wiring diagram 2.1.0.C Ignition system specification It is easier to work with the album when you are familiar with following diagram arrangement peculiarities. Each wiring diagram reflects an approximate arrangement of units on an aircraft. Electrical boxes and instrument panels are outlined.Chapter “Plug-type connectors” presents full information on aircraft connectors wiring, each wire is marked with a feeder number it belongs to. Following markings are used in diagrams. 1. FOR WIRES Electrical wiring in aircraft is made using БПДО [BPDO] БПДОЭ [BPDOE] wires. Each wire onboard has its own alphanumeric marking as agreed in aerospace industry. Letters in wire marking usually indicate feeder it belongs to, digits- wire number in feeder. 2. FOR PLUG-TYPE CONNECTORS Electrical wiring in aircraft is made with a reference to aircraft structural and technological breaks. Basically ШР [ShR], 2РМ [2RM], 2РМД [2RMD] types of connectors are used that allow to perform quick connection/ disconnection. Each plug-type connector is marked with its unique number according to wiring diagram. 3.
