spirit in this yearly tradition.
Everyyear,Whitman-Hansonstudentsparticipateina
school-wide rally before Thanksgiving break. Seniors
wearblackclothing,juniorswearred,andunderclassmen
wearwhite.Therallyisagreatsend-offtoourfootball
players who play against Abington on Thanksgiving
morning,butnowitismorefocusedon "whocandoit
best."
Allgradescompetetohavethebestbannersandschool
spirit,anditisthetrendthatseniorsusuallyprevail.Also,
senior and junior boys participate in powderpuff
cheerleadingandgohead-to-headin frontoftheentire
schoolinordertowingloryfortheirclass. Thisyear,
"Rally is nice because we get
out of class for the afternoon"

theseniorboysseemedtohavewonthecrowdover.
Student groups perform including the buton twirlers,
dance team, and cheerleaders. The Whitman-Hanson
cheerleaders never fail to amaze, and their routine
includedmanyincrediblestunts.Ittrulyisinspirational
to see suchtalentedgroupsperformthatare composed
ofWhitman-HansonHighSchoolfriends.
