Western States Angus Auxiliary Scholarship
Two; $500.00 awards are given to deserving applicants. The WSA Auxiliary off ers these scholarships to
graduating high school seniors who plan on attending a college, university or trade school. These scholarships
are open to Junior Angus members from: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, California, Western Montana,
Nevada, Utah and Washington. Applicants must be either members of the American Angus Association
or National Junior Angus Association. Interested Junior Angus members from the Western States who are
graduating from high school this year may contact the Scholarship Chair listed below for an application
form. Return (postmark) your completed form to the Scholarship Chair by the entry deadline of April 15 of

Western States Angus Auxiliary & Grand Sierra Resort Education Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by the Western States Angus Auxiliary and a gracious contribution from the Grand Sierra Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada. This
scholarship is specifi cally designed to encourage students to continue their upper level education. One; $500.00 award is given to the most deserving applicant.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 26 and enrolled in a college, university or trade school during their second, third, fourth or fi fth year of school.
This scholarship is open to current or former Junior Angus members from: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, California, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Washington.
Applicants must be either members of the American Angus Association or National Junior Angus Association. Previous WSAA Scholarship applicants or winners
as well as those who have not previously applied are all eligible. Applicants must submit a 350 word essay entitled “What roles will education and Angus cattle
play in my future?” Applicants must include their name, the name of the institution you are currently attending, years in school and current address in the upper
