We had Random Acts of Kindness, Rhodes won the Swim Meet for the first time since 2002, we enjoyed the Annual Golf Tournament at Riddell's Bay, Elliot Hubbard was an eloquent guest speaker at our Prize Giving Ceremony, we sold paintings at our Art Auction, enjoyed the talents of our drama students at the Shakespeare Festival and our major production, "Cabaret", we dined in splendor and with much entertainment at the 350th Gala Dinner, we enjoyed the WAPTA Christmas Fair, the Winter Music Concert, the Walk and Run for Warwick, Open Day and in late December we finally laid the celebrations to rest at our final assembly for the year when we buried our Time Capsule. Along the way we were helped and supported by a vast number of people and my very grateful thanks go to everyone involved in what was a memorable year for the school. While celebrations are wonderful, the day to day life of the school had to continue and I think we all breathed a collective sigh when January rolled around. Our students continued to shine and to represent the school in all areas of school and Bermuda life. They are well known for their good manners, politeness and high achievements in academic, sporting and community circles. I am encouraged by our partnership with Amnesty International and celebrate that we have become the first Human Rights Friendly School in Bermuda. I would like to thank the staff and students for all they did to make the 350th year so successful and I am indebted to my Head Boy, Girl and Deputy team of Matthew Wedlich, Anna Dobson, Melanie Mendonca, Chas Smith, Keiran Hamilton and Azaria Smith. They have been amazing ambassadors for the school and a pleasure to work with all year. I have really enjoyed their company and comments about school life. My thanks also go to the students and staff who have compiled the yearbook this year. This is another prized memory to keep for the future as we maintain the legacy of this amazing school. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the contents.
