A very nice smooth flowing dance with a cute gimmick (reciting the vowels). The dance
was presented by Susan Morris at the Community Dance Leader’s Seminar held in Mesa,

49-64 Face in a Sicilian Circle and, as a couple, weave by Right (say A),
then weave by the next couple Left (say E), then next couple Right (say I) then next
couple Left (say O). Stop facing the 5th couple (say U).
I would place this dance in the “Community Dance” category because I think that both the
DoSaDo and Swing are hard for beginning dancers to learn quickly. In a “Community Dance”
setting, I would not use this dance until the dancers were experienced at doing both a DoSaDo
and a Swing.
I also believe this dance would work for a Sicilian Circle dance at a MWSD club. Using the
vowels for an action they know as Veer Left, Veer Right, Veer Right, Veer Left, Veer, etc. I
think I would show them the movements and then just tell them It’s a Couple Weave the ring.
